A baby journal we all love

With the help of my dear mom I made this short movie for you. I thought it was nicer then only showing pictures and I will try to do more of these video's if you like me too? Thanks mama, I'm very happy you are here and you are 'hired' best assistant in town!

Studio April designed a baby journal for Cicada Books. Smart hinking of them to invite talented illustrator Yasmeen Ismail. Her gorgeous illustrations make the journal extra eye-catching.

The baby journal is printed on different paper stocks and comes with little keepsake  envelopes for you to place mementos. A beautiful gift for new parents! I have reserved mine for soon mother to be LilleLykke ... she moved to Singapore, which makes me very happy and I hope we will meet each other soon in person.

The music in this little video is 'Green leaf on the ground' by music artist Lori Henriques. I already loved her first album Lullaby piano , but am happy with her lates album 'outside my door' ... music for all ages :)

Monday's quick start: new wallpaper from hibou home

The new wallpaper collection from Hibou home is just spot on ... soft pastel colors with prints that kids will love too ... I have been a fan of Hibou home for a couple of years now and find it so admirable how Emma Lycett, founder and creator is growing her business in these which we all know not so easy times.

Great way to start this week I believe and lot more to come ... a new DIY project tomorrow .. a book review in a special way and some pinterest fun. So hope to see you more often this week!

Craft project: sticker dot garland

Just one step in this new craft tutorial ... the easiest project so far here on BKids ... But it is a perfect one for the very young one.

Rooms we adore in France

I am a huge fan of Aurélie Lecuyer taste and styling ideas ... seeing her complete home today gave me so much inspiration.

She lives in a former school near the city of Nantes with her family and authors the blog La Dans La.

You might recognise corners of her home from other pictures ... Aurélie is a freelance stylist and works for brands like misha lulu, Famille Summerbelle,Tove Johansson and Nido.

Monday's quick start: Dick Bruna and Jane Foster

How was your weekend? Hopefully very relaxing and fun! I was working on some new ideas for posts for this week and while making some pictures of my vintage Dick Bruna puzzles I was thinking of Jane Foster and how she often is inspired by the famous illustrator from the Netherlands. So I visited her blog and shop and saw some lovely spring designs ...

The boy eskimo puzzle is from my own childhood and the mother and child I bought a while back from the Kickcan&Conkers shop.
